Tomorrow, I will be 29. Yet, I am still hacking the best way to live my life. Single and living with my parents… well, don’t really bug me. Being away from home since I am 13 until 24, I guess my parents also appreciate me being home.

I hope so.

I realized now sleeping is my main priority nowadays. I spent on my bunkbed, bought a new mattress and finding the perfect pillow. Nevertheless, the fact that I woke up sore still doesn’t change. I suspect it’s my posture or probably my habit of driving and sedentary work life.

Welp, can’t link the website as thumbnail here. So here’s the link if anyone’s interested

It’s hard to actually troubleshoot why your body is feeling sore. I work out but not as frequent as I should so I guess the sore couldn’t be from me overworking-out. I did get some massage hoping for a miraculous recovery but I rarely experience it post-massage. In fact, I feel somewhat wasting my money spending for it.

Until this week.

Thanks to a stranger’s suggestion on Twitter, I discovered about a Youtube Channel by Jeremy Ethier. It’s a fitness channel so feel free to feel sorry about the state of your body compared to his, but the great thing about his content is he provides literature review on routines/exercises he recommended.

Early this week Jeremy posted a video on 10-minute workout for sedentary workers. He explained that our body gets to efficient at sitting and “turn-off” unnecessary muscle and this leads to you know soreness and difficulty working out.

So I followed his routine in one fine morning. To my surprise, it seems to undo the knots and twists I uncomfortably feel all this time. The difference was so overwhelming I recommended the videos to some of my friends.

I mean stretching is important people. Can’t stress this enough. I don’t know how many people actually experience casual and recurring soreness like I am, but I feel great when I don’t feel like my body is working against me.

So, off to be a great adult… I guess (?)!
